Condolence From: Bob & Donna Carter
Condolence: Our sincere condolences to all of you; we are sure the past several years has been very difficult for all of you, now Vi is at peace & free from her infirmities. Bob & I have many happy memories of Vi. We think of the times chauffeuring her around Mt. Desert Island & Bangor Maine in her white & black Ford LTD & yellow Buick Palm Beach with lots of laughs & good food. When Bob & I were married nothing doing she wanted to make the fruit cake {traditionally known as the Grooms Cake}We all know how scrumptious her dark fruit cakes were. Many times just before suppertimes her car would roar up the driveway; in she would stomp with a bun of bread or rolls or whatever the recipe of the day was. We Thanked her graciously; she would always say" the fun in making is sharing". Vi was also a mentor & best friend, she always willing gave me approval or disapproval on fashion wear & household decor. After my mother passed away she was my go to person when I cooked something & it didn't turn out the way it should she always told me what I did wrong. RIP Vi you will always remain a special part of our lives.
