Grand Chief Mary Lou Parker meant a great deal to me. She showed me how to live my life as a Métis with dignity, humility and honour. We as Canadians and indigenous people alike all lost a great deal with her passing. Thank you Chief Parker for all you shared with me. We will see one another one day on the other side. May the Creator bless you and look over you aways.....Elder John Gervais
