My Uncle Mel Doucette knew Johnny Very Well
My Uncle Mel Doucette lived in the same building as Johnny's Shoe Repair. My Uncle would go and visit Johnny all the time and would talk for hours.Also my Aunt (Margaret Hubbard) was very grateful to Johnny, as she needed a lift for her shoes, as she had a leg shorter than the other due to an accident as a child. She always loved Johnny's work on her shoes. He done many shoes for her over the years. He was a perfectionist with his work.He will be well remembered for his services in the church community.
