Condolence: Rest in peace uncle John, I'll miss coming to nannie and grampie's every Christmas eve and coming to give you a hug, see how you've been and you wishing me a happy birthday, usually giving me the perfect gift, everytime. I didn't get to see you that often, but when I did I was always smiling at something you said. I know your in a better place, and I know you'll still be with us every Christmas and every other time were together, thinking of you. Love you forever and always. ❤

Condolence: When I think of John, it's when he was living with our grandma, and we were all much, much younger than now. I remember his chuckle when something struck him as funny. I remember his paintings, and his enthusiasm for putting something down on canvas. I remember him walking everywhere - because once he set his mind on going somewhere, he usually went!

And now he is gone, walking a new path...

Rest in peace, cousin.

Condolence: Back in our high school days, John and I were involved in the high school newspaper and the political science club.

Always his own man, he established the Black Feather Party prior to the Model Parliament elections back in 1970, and did surprisingly well!

Otherwise, his sense of humour was unique, and particularly effective in levelling conceit and making his targets laugh at the same time. I wish more people had that talent.

It was good reconnecting this past year.
