BURT, Doris Annie – age 75 of South Ohio, Yarmouth Co. N.S., passed away at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital on January 8, 2017. Born in Glovertown NFLD on August 14, 1941 she was a daughter to the late Chesley J. and Emily A. (Genge) Burton. Doris is survived by her loving husband, Garland, South Ohio; son, Geoffrey Todd (Mary) Amherst; daughters, Carole Gallagher, Dartmouth; Krista Rae Burt , Dartmouth; brother, Benjamin (Diane) Burton, Glovertown; sister, Dorothy Crocker, Toronto 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral or visitation at her request.
