Condolence From: Tim Flynn
Condolence: I was a young constable working at 14 Division where Al Stead was a detective in 14 Division Detective Office. When I brought in criminal arrests, Al would help me prepare the necessary paperwork for court. He was a mentor to me without knowing it and he was the reason I wanted to become a detective. I enjoyed his sense of humour and diligence to putting away the bad guys. I was blessed to having honed my investigative skills from working with Al. My thoughts and prayers are with the Stead family. Thank you Al. Tim Flynn, Retired Toronto Detective
