Mary Elizabeth Pothier passed away on December 27, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia she was a daughter of the late Harry and Ruth (Smith) Brush.Mary was a member of the C.W.L. O Holy Trinity Church, Rocmaura Foundation, Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation, St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation and Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 54. Surviving are her husband, of 67 years, William "Mickey"; son, Raymond (Donna) Pothier, Yarmouth; daughters, Darlene (Ronald) Hadland, Saint John; Diana (Emery) Richard, Saint John; Ramona (Calvin) Johnson, Yarmouth; Harry’s Fiancé, Tracy; sisters, Olive, Joyce and Gloria; brothers, Gordie and Bernard; several grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son, Harry Pothier.Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday, December 29, 2013, from 7-9 PM and Monday, December 30 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 12:00 noon from Holy Trinity Church, 21 Canon Street. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family
