Obituary for Mary Margaret "Nellie" Allen

ALLEN, Mary Margaret “Nellie” – 87 of the Villa St. Joseph du Lac passed away at the Villa on July 29, 2013. Born in Yarmouth on November 17, 1926 she was a daughter to the late Susan and James Robicheau. Nellie and her late husband Bruce Allen were known to be inseparable and enjoyed hobbies such as knitting, crocheting and sewing together. Later in life she enjoyed the company of her friends and family who would come to visit with her. She is survived by her brother, Reginald; nephews, Larry, Frank, Scott, Benjamin, Richard; nieces, Beverly, Katherine, and Susan. Besides her parents and her husband she was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy (Infancy), Cecelia (Alfred Deveau), Mildred (Cleve Garron), Bernice (Arthur Cleveland); brothers, Frank, Raymond and Percy. There will be no visitation by family request. Family flowers only please. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Stephen Bourque officiating. Donations in Nellie’s memory may be made to the Villa St. Joseph du Lac.
