We lived in Yarmouth when my dad was a minister at Beacon United - lived in the manse at 2 Chipman Lane (when it was the manse) - Mr and Mrs Deming were like another set of grandparents to my sister and I. I've gotten to visit Mrs. Deming in the last several years on trips to Yarmouth and she hadn't changed really at all in almost 50 years. She was truly adored by me, my sister and parents, Laird & Carolyn Stirling. She will be missed but the memories will always remain of one amazing, strong woman.
My sympathies,
Kathleen Stirling Cameron

Preston and I, along with our sons, Joel (Montreal) and Alex (Perth, Australia) send our condolences to Marge's family. We were fortunate to have lived across from this wonderful lady on Chipman Lane from 1989-1996, and she became, and still is, "Nanny Marge" to us. I have always appreciated and valued her time with me, and our boys. What a fun woman, with a sharp mind, full of wit and wisdom. We have great memories of Marge, and she is forever in our hearts.

I have had the privilege to have had Marge as my friend. We shared many chats re family, golf, curling and travel. I will carry with me the memory of our last drive together out to the Cape and how later we parked by John Cove’s beach and just sat; enjoying the view. If possible ginger flavoured ice cream was part of our routine. Myself, my children and my little dog Bahia will miss “nanny Marge”. I like to think she is somewhere out there catching up on her golf. My condolences. I will miss her. Janice Comeau
