Obituary for Marion Florence Broome
BROOME, Marion Florence
March 3, 1927 - June 16, 2014.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marion. Born in Staffordshire, England she was a daughter to the late Albert and Jennie (Thomas) Broome. Marion worked as a nurse for her career. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Dru Harries and her two brothers, Jess and Albert Broome. She is survived by her loving nieces, Linda Moon and Carol Thomson (Dru) and nephew, David Broome (Albert). Marion was also a great aunt to 5 nieces and 1 nephew and a great-great aunt to 5 nieces and 1 nephew. Marion will be forever missed. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A memorial service was held on June 26, 2014 at 2 p.m. from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Rev. Helen Chandler officiated. Interment followed at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
