Obituary for Marilyn Jean Coyle

Marilyn  Jean  Coyle
COYLE, Marilyn Jean – age 59, of South Ohio, N.S. passed away peacefully at home on July 13, 2014. Born in Yarmouth, N.S. she was a daughter of the late Charles and Jean (Killam) Winship. Marilyn was self employed and owned Blue Huron Wood Working and was an artist that painted on rocks and canvass. In her spare time Marilyn also loved to read. Marilyn is survived by her son, David (Esther), Calgary ALTA; daughters, Katherine (Jerry), P.E.I; Vicki (James), P.E.I; Levita (Randy), P.E.I; Gerry Jo (Tony), P.E.I; brothers, Charles (Susan), South Ohio, Yarmouth Co., Bruce (Kay), Moods Mill Road, Yarmouth Co., Glen Winship, South Ohio , Yarmouth Co., 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Besides her parents Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, Gerard “Gerry”; sisters, Marlene and Diane; and grandsons, Gage and Anthony. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in Marilyn’s memory maybe made to the Tri County Victorian Order of Nurses, or the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund.
