Marian L. "Gloria"  Hanf
Hanf, Marion “Gloria”- 90 , Yarmouth. It is with great sadness that we ,the family, announce the passing of Mom on the evening of Friday, August 2, 2013 surrounded by family and friends in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was Born May 3, 1923 in Forest Glen and ninety years later God called her Home. She was a homemaker and worked a number of years at Harris’ Quick & Tasty. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Baptist Church. Gloria was a devoted mother , grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed family gatherings and was so very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved each one. She leaves to mourn one daughter, Sharon ( Darryl) DeViller, Yarmouth; Three grandchildren, Karen Gaudet, Yarmouth; Dr. Darren ( Katrina) DeViller, Halifax; Tamara ( Leeman) Cottreau, Plymouth; great grandchildren: Brooke and Bryce Dauphinee, Nolan and Landyn Cottreau. Son in law Albert Gaudet; sister Connie ( Donnie) Travis, Pleasant Valley; brother Prescott ( Jennie) Hanf and sister in law Beverly Hanf, Brazil Lake; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Iman Lee Hanf (1998), daughter Myrna Rose Gaudet (2005), sister Lila Pearl Cann (1979), brother Glendon Hanf (2009), mother Lenora Harding and George Hanf. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium. There will be a visitation 7:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. Monday , August 5, 2013. In keeping with mom’s wishes there will be a public graveside service at Hebron Riverside Cemetery Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Officiated by Rev. A.D Bill Newell and Pastor Shawn Kehoe. Family Flowers only. If you wish , donations in mom’s memory may be made to the Yarmouth Regional Hospital Foundation or to the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund.
