Obituary for Margaret Pauline Green

Margaret Pauline  Green
GREEN, Margaret Pauline -94 of Arcadia, passed away at Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Born June 23, 1919 she was the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Hilda McGray. She was a bookkeeper during her working years, most notably with Yarmouth Fruit Company. She is survived by her only daughter, Heather Green (Preston Robichaud) and her greatest pride and joy, her special grandson, Kristen McDonagh. She also leaves to mourn several nieces and nephews, most especially Robyn McKenzie and Bill (Patricia) McKenzie. Both who have always been there for Aunt Margaret and their sons grand nephews, Sean, Jason, and Ryan. Also surviving are sister in laws ,Shirley Drummond, Waterdown, Ont; Betty Allan, Arizona; special friend, Amanda (Robichaud), and Mearl Cummins and their children, Cole and Cayden, whom she thought of as her own great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John; sister, Olive (Stanley) McKenzie; and brother, Arthur McGray. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be no visitation by family request. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 13 at 2 p.m. from the Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery Richie Chapel with Rev. A.D. “Bill” Newell officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to Y.A.C.R.O Yarmouth or a charity of your choice.
