Obituary for Laura Butler

Laura Butler
Butler, Laura Bernice, 96, of Vancouver Place passed away on March 23, 2017 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was born in Tusket, NS to the late Robert and Muriel Blauveldt. During her career Laura worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance and later as secretary at the Yarmouth High School. Besides her parents she was predeceased by siblings and by her husband Sidney. She is survived by her step son Russell Butler, Step Daughter Susan Sweeney and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be a memorial service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Yarmouth on Sunday, April 16th at 3 p.m. with Father Doug Chard officiating.
