BLAUVELT, Ernest Hugh – Age 64( b. Sept 18, 1952 ),of Tusket passed away November 8, 2016 with his family and friends by his side. Ernest worked many jobs throughout his life finishing his career at Elite Farm Services in Eelbrook. He was predeceased by his father Nathaniel Blauvelt and mother, Isabelle (Muise) Blauvelt; sister, Jean; and infant brother, James. He is survived by brothers, Joseph “Oscar” (Pat), George ,Melvin (Marie), Randall and Leroy (Charlene); sisters, Gertrude (John), Kathleen (Charlie); and fiancé Lynn Deveau; nephew, James Welsh “Jimmy”, 8 nieces and 6 nephews and 8 great nieces and 6 great nephews. Funeral services have been entrusted to Sweenys Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 6 to 7:30 where a funeral service will start at 7:30 P.M. all in Sweenys Funeral Chapel with Rev A.D. "Bill" Newell officiating. Interment will take place Monday November 14, 2016 at 1 P.M in St. Stephens Anglican Church Cemetery, Tusket. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
