POOLE, Elizabeth Anne “Marie” – age 58 of Belleville, Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed away on May 16th, 2018 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth on November 3, 1959 she was the daughter of James and Barbara (LeFave) Pottier. Marie was a loving wife and mother who loved her family dearly. She was best known for working nearly 39 years at the Best Western in Yarmouth where she was always a friendly face. Besides her parents she is survived by her son, Alex Poole, Belleville; brothers, James “Michael” (Elaine) Pottier, Yarmouth; John (Leslie) Pottier, Ottawa ON; Vince Pottier (Abby), Yarmouth; Gerald (Jennifer) Pottier, Toronto ON; Brian Pottier (Della) Alberta; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her husband Sydney in November 2017. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A funeral service will be held Saturday May 19, 2018 at 2 P.M. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bruce Hubbard officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund or the Tri County V.O.N. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital Oncology Unit.
