Condolence: Marilyn and family, Don was fixture in the everyday life in Brooklyn, often he seemed to be everywhere. His support of many people throughout the community was sometimes below the radar, but his hands helped many. I remember him taking Mom and Dad to the Halifax for medical appointments and staying on to help out.
He loved to play cards with my parents, Hand and Foot in particular, in the kitchen at home, trying to make people laugh. His enthusiasm for life was infectious.
He will be missed. Thinking of you all

Condolence: Mrs. Burns and Family. Sorry to hear of your loss. I knew Don from his service in the Canadian Army Reserve with the 84th Independent Field Battery. Don was a good friend and had a remarkable sense of humour. It was a long time since we had seen each other, but I remember him well and offer my condolences.
