Obituary

White, Darrell Bradford- age 72 of Lawrencetown N.S., and formerly of Yarmouth, passed away on April 22, 2021, in Valley Regional Hospital. Born in South Ohio, Yarmouth County, on February 6, 1949 he was a son to the late Cecil and Lillian (Gray) White. Darrell was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was the owner/operator of Darrell White Trucking and also worked for the Department of Transportation in Yarmouth and Middleton. He was retired and loved to camp, listen to country music and go wheeling with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Lynn (LeBlanc); daughters, Christine Middleton, Yarmouth; son, Brent (Nicole) White, Brazil Lake; step-son, Dale (Misty) King, Salmon River; siblings, Roger (Pauline) White, Pinkney’s Point; Wayne (Becky) White, Yarmouth; Anna Thompson, Brazil Lake; Susan (Leonard) Fitzgerald, Yarmouth; Jeannie (Carmen) Jackson, Halifax; grandchildren; Tyeshia, LaToya, Dalante, Curtis, Jordanna, Brad; step-grandchildren, Zoe and Caleb; and great-grandchildren, Ellie and Samia, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Darrell was predeceased by his sisters, Doreen White and Hope Richardson. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A graveside service will take place at a later date in Carleton Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Carleton Cemetery or the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund. I had the pleasure of working with Darrell at the East Kemptville Tin Mine.
Very sorry to hear of his passing. May all of those he leaves behind have peace knowing he was a great guy.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Wayne., Becky and Anna and to all his other family. Got to know him when he worked at the Tin Mine and ate at Chet’s Diner lots of times
