Lawson, Carole Elizabeth – 70, of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully at Villa St Joseph-Du-Lac on June 5, 2014. Born in Woking England on January 13, 1944 she was a daughter to the late Mollie Somers and Norman Heathcote. Carole was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was a member of the Yamouth Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Currier, Edmonton AB; sons, Ray, Victoria BC; Teddy, Oak Park NS; 5 grandchildren Jaqueline, Kris, Brad, Karen, and Kate, and 2 great grandchildren Rhea and Eli. A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 1 p.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel in Yarmouth with Rev. Karl Gorman officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Kidney Foundation. The family would like to recognize Florence Watkins and Skippy Nelson who mom cherished for their friendship.
