Blair Clayton  Penney
PENNEY Blair Clayton – age 49, of North Chegoggin, Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2016 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Yarmouth on October 18, 1966 he was a son to Clinton and Nancy (Deveau) Penney. Blair was a loving husband, father, and friend to all that knew him. He was always happy and smiling and was never content sitting still always having to have something on the go. He was a fisherman for most of his life and also worked at Charles Poole Scrap Metal and on the M.V. Bluenose. In his spare time he had a love of car racing, especially with his son Trevor. Besides his parents he is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Lynn (LeBlanc) Penney; daughter, Jenelle (Josh Heroux); son, Trevor (Kierstin Comeau); brothers, David (Cathy), Yarmouth; Eric (Krista Deveau), Yarmouth; Glen (Erin MacKinnon), Halifax. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of Blair’s life will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 at 2 P.M. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Myers officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Chegoggin Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to the Yarmouth S.P.C.A or a charity of your choice.
