Obituary for Beula Jeanette Farmer

FARMER, Beula Jeanette – age 95, of Pleasant Lake, Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed away peacefully on November 15, 2014 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Pleasant Lake on January 14, 1919 she was a daughter to the late Robie and Calista (Chandler) Thompson. She is survived by daughter, Elsie Rosa (Lorenzo) Lawrence, Greenville, Yarmouth Co.; son, Sheldon Emerson (Linda) Farmer, Toronto ON; foster mother to sons, Allen, ON; Shawn, B.C.; Len, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Quincy, MTL; Kool, ON; Calvin, B.C; Karen, Yarmouth; Shavonne, ON; Donna, QC; Darren, Dartmouth; and Dorian, ON; she also had many great grandchildren and great great-grandchidlren. Besides her parents she was predicated by her husband, Sherman; sisters, Vivian, Geneva, Ruby, Lillian, and Jasmine; brother, Howard; and grandson, Damien. She was deeply devoted to her family and lord, always sharing and reading her lords scriptures with many. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home South Room and 7-9 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Pennell officiating. Interment will follow in Greenville Cemetery.
