CLEMENTS, Bernice Alma – 94 of The Villa St Joseph du Lac and formerly of Melbourne passed away after a brief illness at the Villa St. Joseph du Lac on December 4, 2013. Born on October 9, 1919 in Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co., N.S. she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Doucette and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her son James. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, James R; sisters, Emily (Dennis) Surette; Odell Doucette; Doris (Harry) Rhyno; brothers, George; Henry (Jean); Gerald (Hazel). She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her infectious laugh. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be no visitation as per her request. A funeral mass will held Friday, December 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Melbourne with Father Pat O’Mara officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
