TAYLOR, Agatha Hazel – age 56, of Lower Argyle, Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed away on January 28, 2015 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth on July 14, 1958 she was a daughter to the late Robert and Joyce (Risser) Spinney. Agatha was a loving wife, and mother who loved her family dearly. She ran a taxi company for 9 years and was a foster parent for 11 years. She was also on the board for foster parents. In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, camping, and especially loved animals. She is survived by her loving husband, Jeff, Lower Argyle; son, Jonathan (Heather) Smith, Argyle Head; brother, William (Suzanne) Spinney, Lower Argyle; sister, Rosemary (Bernard) Tedford, Pembroke; aunt, Francis (Ray) Fisher, Lockport; nieces, Doloros, Joyce-ann, Cynthia; nephew, Steven; and great nephew, Jacob. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her grandmothers, Lillian Risser and Elizabeth Poole; and father in law, Ralph Taylor. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10 a.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A.D “Bill” Newell officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Argyle Head. Donations in memory may be made to S.P.C.A, Camp Peniel or a charity of your choice.
