Obituary for Winston Devin Prouty

Winston Devin Prouty
PROUTY Winston Devin – 4 months – god decided he needed another angel because he knew he was perfect and took Winston to be with him on Sunday January 7, 2018 in Pubnico Head Nova Scotia after a tragic house fire. Born in Yarmouth on September 3, 2017 he was a son to Phillip Prouty and Emma Kennedy. Winston, the apple of his parent’s eyes he was good natured and always happy and giggling he filled his parent’s lives with light and unconditional love. Winston loved to jump in his jolly jumper and watch Baby Einstein when he wasn’t cuddling up to his mom and dad. Big brown eyes and a dark hair he had his father’s features and mothers personality. He was often referred as baby “brodder” by his family. His older sisters Mya and Jayla always made sure he had his passie and gave him lots of love. He enjoyed his sisters singing and dancing for him by his smiles and giggles. He also enjoyed truck rides and his soft fuzzy blankets. During his short stay on earth he touched many lives and was deeply loved by family and friends. He truly was a special gift to us. Some people only dream of angels, we held ours in our arms. Besides his parents Winston is survived by grandparents; Denise Kennedy and Rick (Maureen) Kennedy; great grandparents , Ervin and Amelia Olsen; Vivian and Edward Kennedy; uncles and aunts, Patrick, Ethan, Craig, John ; and many cousins. Winston was predeceased by his grandfather, Phil Prouty Sr; sisters, Jayla and Mya and Aunt Taralee. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A funeral service will be held Tuesday January 23 at 2 P.M. from Yarmouth Wesleyan Church with Pastor A.J Plaizier officiating. Interment will follow in Chegoggin Cemetery in the arms of his big sister Jayla. Donations in memory may be made to the Pubnico Fire Relief Fund. Flowers, teddy bears, or dolls are welcome and will be donated to the I.W. K. or children in need.
