William Lewis "Bill"  Wilson
Wilson, William “Bill” Lewis, 84 of Yarmouth passed away December 31, 2017 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Barrington August 6, 1933 he was the son of the late Albert and Winnifred(Crowell) Wilson. Bill worked for Maritime Tel & Tel for 34 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and canoeing, looking forward to his annual hunting trips with his friends and fishing trips with wife. He was a member of the Yarmouth Gun Club. Bill Is survived by his Loving wife Maude (Gridley) Wilson; daughter Abbie Gail (Jim) LeCain, New York State; Son Douglas (Katie), Halifax; Grandchildren Scott, Andrew and Stephanie LeCain; Great grandchildren Layla and Lana LeCain. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2 P.M. from the Beacon United Church. Rev. Sharon Lohnes officiating. Burial to take place in the Brass Hill Cemetery, Barrington at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Beacon United Church or Charity of your Choice.
