Boyd, Victor “Buddy”, 82 of Yarmouth passed away April 5, 2018 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 21, 1935 in Yarmouth, he was the son to the late Karl and Kathleen (Hipson) Boyd. Buddy enjoyed everything about the outdoors, especially camping. He was a loving father and grandfather to his 3 daughters Valerie (Russell Kelly), Clyde River; Maureen (Paul) Pritchett, Pubnico; Vicki Gaudet (Dave Muise), Yarmouth; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Billy, Ontario; Jack (Doreen), Yarmouth; half brother Johnny, Truro; sister Carmen Wyman, Tusket. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his daughter Teresa; Brothers Ralph, Arnold, Paul; Sisters Eva and Barbara. A Memorial Service in memory of Buddy will take place Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 1:00pm.in the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Hebron. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth.
