Obituary for Thomas "Bruce" Falls

Thomas Bruce Falls of Greenville passed away peacefully on February 24, 2023 surrounded by family and friends at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 10,1963 in Yarmouth he was a son to the late Thomas “Enos” and Rosalie (Turner) Falls. Bruce was an Acadia First Nation member and worked as a fisherman for Kespuwick Resources Inc. for 22 years , before fishing he was a clammer and wormer. He met many friends during his career which he loved every minute . He loved any outdoor sports like fishing, hunting and boxing. He was very outspoken and if you didn’t want to hear the truth, don’t ask the question because 9 times out of 10 you may not like his answer. Bruce had the best sense of humor because he could make you laugh within the first few minutes of the conversation or make you mad at the same time, he was that kind of guy. Bruce loved trout fishing with his children, playing Sunday afternoon horseshoes with friends and family from Greenville. He was an amazing hunter, the family could always count on him to bring them home his catches. He would often travel to Cape Brenton for his famous moose hunting trips with his friends. He was a good provider and would not turn down anyone who needed his help. One of Bruce’s dreams was to go on a hunting or fishing trip to Newfoundland, B.C or somewhere south. Bruce never believed in expensive things; he was a very down to earth man. He wanted good adventures and to make lasting memories. Bruce sure did love his crazy dogs Patches and Red. He will surely be missed by the community of Greenville as well as his dear friends. He is survived by his daughters, Aisha (Josh) Farley, Halifax; Linnea and Mickayla Surette, Yarmouth; Thomasina Soucy (William), Indian Township; sons, Riley Falls, Greenville; T’Shawn Rymer, Yarmouth; grandchildren; Keighan, Lennox, Liberty, Remi Lola, Alaia, and Aubrey; siblings; Alfred Thompson, Ontario; Hallet (Barb) Turner, Greenville; Cora (Phil) Hutchinson, Maine; Richard Falls(Elaine), Halifax; Martha Falls, Yarmouth; Perry (Susan) Falls, Edmonton; Daniel (Rhonda)Falls, Yarmouth; Michael Falls(Donna), Yarmouth; Josephine Falls, Yarmouth; Ray (Kathy) Falls, Yarmouth; Rachel Falls( Melbourne), Greenville; Benjie Falls, Yarmouth; Marie Falls (Curtis), Yarmouth; Curtis (Michelle) Falls, Arcadia; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
