Gidney, Terry Kenneth age 66 of Mink Cove, Digby County passed away at Yarmouth Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Digby, he was the son of the late Irene (Merritt) Gidney and the late Alan Herado Gidney. He enjoyed spending time with his family , especially his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Guptell-Brett); son, Craig (Patty); sisters, Wanda (Allen) and Florence; brothers, Roddy (Liz) Tracey, Troy (Mary) and Marty (Jennifer) ; grandchildren, Cody, Devon and Ava; as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his beloved cat Sweetie, who liked to tease him by staying just out of his reach to be petted. At Terrys request there will be no funeral service.
