Obituary for Sherry Lee Thompson

THOMPSON, Sherry Lee – age 58, of Yarmouth Nova Scotia, passed away in Yarmouth Regional Hospital with her very special friend and confidant Michael Falls by her side. Born in Pembroke, Ontario on December 4, 1963, she was a daughter to Brenda Thompson and Billy Talbot. Sherry was known to be very personable and loved people. She talked to everybody she saw and called them “hun”. In her younger years, Sherry worked in factories in Toronto before moving to Yarmouth where she worked in boat shops. She loved to go kaick dipping in the spring and was known for her famous smokehouse. Above all else, she loved life and the people in it, especially kids which brought her great joy. Sherry is survived by her mother, Brenda Thompson, Toronto; daughter, Lianda Thompson, Yarmouth; brother, Kevin Thompson, Toronto; sister, Brenda Ritchie, Toronto; grandchild, Kassady Simmons; nieces and nephews, Destiny, James, and Dwight; and many friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents Howard and Georgina Thompson. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Greenville Cemetery.
