McCumber, Sadie Margaret ,93 of Yarmouth, went to be with the Lord, February 28,2019. Born in Yarmouth she was a daughter to the late William and Agnes Boudreau. Sadie was a Past President of the Yarmouth Lionettes and a member of the Beacon United Church, Yarmouth. She enjoyed her many visits with family and friends, providing treats to her favorite pet, Milo. She enjoyed a good game of crib and attended many past local tournaments. She also enjoyed knitting, camping and attending blue grass festivals with her late husband Donald. She is survived by sons, Donald (Christine Cottreau), Little River Harbour; Wayne (Suzanne Muise), Yarmouth; grandchildren Melissa Davis; Kim Ruttan; Heather Gallagher; Dean Doucette; Jessica Lane Richardson; 5 great grandchildren; son in law Martin Doucette; sister Jane Thompson, Los Angeles. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Donald; daughter Madelyn; sisters Grace Brannen; Madelyn Merrigan; Yvonne Cronin; brothers William; Melvin; Richard and Robert. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 5,2019, 7-9pm from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service Wednesday, March 6,2019 at 11am also in the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Yarmouth. Rev. Sharon Lohnes officiating. Interment in the Carlton Cemetery at a later date.
