Russell Claude CROWELL Jr. – died 23 Jan. 2022, in Palliative Care, Villa Saint-Joseph, Dayton, NS. He was born in Yarmouth, NS in 1951, a son of the late Russell Claude Crowell Sr. & the late Lorraine Vivian (Harding) of East Kemptville. A single man, he spent his entire life in Nova Scotia, the majority of it in East Kemptville and the Town of Yarmouth. He lived for a number of years in Yarmouth South, and was well known there at the HOPE centre. He is survived by four brothers, Lawrence H. (Cheryl), Malden, MA; Peter M., Yarmouth; Daniel K. (Brenda), Winnipeg; and Ronald T. (Sandra), Roberts Island; and one sister, Georgina “Gina” (Peter Doiron), Moncton. He was predeceased by his parents, and by older brother, Robert M. His youngest brother, Ronald, and Ronald’s wife Sandra (Atkinson) have overseen much of his care since 2002. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home & Crematorium. There will be no visitation and no funeral service. The family will have a private event at a future date when the ashes will be placed in the East Kemptville Cemetery where his parents are buried.
