Obituary for Rosalie Helen Harding

The door to heaven opened, a warm candle has gone out, A new Angel has her wings. May she find peace in reuniting with our Dad.
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our wonderful ,loving, caring, Mother , Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, Rosalie Harding, at Nakile Home for Special Care on March 24,2020. Born in Rockville, June 13,1933, she was a daughter to the late Lloyd and Hilda (Smith) Newell. Rosalie is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a homemaker, taking great pride in raising her family. She was a warm, kind woman, always putting others before herself. She was a home body who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. In her spare time, she was an avid craftsperson. Loving the art of crafting and all that entailed. She is survived by daughter, Sherry (Don) Goudey, Chebogue; sons, Jack (Clare), Chebogue Rd.; Gary (Terry), Halifax; Mark, USA; Christopher (Karen) , Windsor; grandchildren, Josh; Ashlee; Breagh; Samantha; Daniel; Kaylee; Kenzie; great grandchildren, Keegan and Xander. Aside from her parents, Rosalie was predeceased by her husband, Walter; brothers, Linwood; William; Ralph; Francis; Lovitt ;sisters, Pearl Boudreau and Eleanor Carr. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A Funeral Service will be held at a later date and will be announced on the Sweeny’s Funeral Home website. A Heartfelt Thank You to the Staff at Nakile Home For Special Care for their exemplary care, love and support to our Mother and to our family during her stay at Nakile .There are Angel's on earth , they work at Nakile Home For Special Care.
