ROBERT EARLE, 73 of Brooklyn, Yarmouth Co., NS. Surrounded by his loving family, Robert died at home on September 30,2019. He is survived by his loving wife Donna (Amon) of 52 years; sons, Aaron (Jody) and Glen (Shelly); granddaughter, LeeAnne and grandson Braiden. Bob was the son of the late Everette and Bernice (Bunny) Earle of Brooklyn and was born April 27, 1946. He was a brother to Danny (Cheryl, deceased), Doug (Sandra), Neil, Keith (who died in infancy) and Diane (Benny). Bob had many nieces and nephews. Family meant everything to Bob. He will be remembered by many friends who worked with him at Dominion Textiles (27 years) and Acadian Seaplants Ltd. (25 years). Bob was a man of great faith and compassion and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone. As a member of St. Ambrose Parish, he was active on several committees. Bob was a 4th degree Knight with the K of C Council 2181 Yarmouth and served in many and various capacities. He was also very involved with the Yarmouth and area Cursillo Community for many years. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be at Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel Thursday October 3,2019 from 7 to 9 P.M. with prayers at 8 P.M. A funeral service will be held Friday October 4, 2019 at 11 A.M. from St. Ambrose Co-Cathedral with Father Henry Smolenaars officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Saint Ambrose Jubilee Room. Memorial donations in Bob's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
