It is with broken hearts that the family announces the passing of Raymond Wayne Fish on January 18, 2022 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Wayne was born in Annapolis Royal, N.S., on July 15, 1951, and was a son of William and Melzena (Freeman) Fish. Wayne went into the accounting profession in 1971 straight out of high school and obtained the designation of audit technician. He loved model railroading and his R/C planes. He was a member of the Yarmouth "South West Flyers R/C Club". Wayne loved going to his brother and sister-in-law's camp, where we spent many weekends and Christmas holidays. He was also an adherent of Yarmouth North Baptist Church. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Coleen (Harris) Fish; his sons, Robert (Kim), Matthew (Sheila); grandchildren, Liam, Jack, Julia (Pooh), and Blake Fish; as well as Julia and Blake's mother Lisa d'Eon; great-granddaughter, Aria; his mother, Melzena Fish; siblings, Dale (Daphne) Fish; Cheryl (Jeff) Mackintosh; his niece Miranda Mackintosh; nephews Nicholas Fish and Tyler Mackintosh. He was predeceased by his father, William Fish, and nephew Nathan Fish. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation by invitation only, as per Covid-19 restrictions, will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 2-4 P.M. in Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel. An invitation only celebration of life will be held Monday, January 24, 2022, at 11 A.M. from Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A.D. "Bill" Newell and Rev. Dr. Shawn Kehoe officiating. The service will be webcast on Sweeny's Funeral Home Homepage (Click the green button). Interment will follow in Clementsvale Cemetery, Annapolis County.
