Peter Ernest Johnson, 68, Greenville. It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Peter Ernest Johnson our beloved brother, son, uncle, great uncle and great great uncle on July 1st, 2019. An outdoorsman, Peter was an avid hunter and angler and loved animals of all kinds; especially his rabbit hound “Dodger “. He was a collector of antiques of various shapes and sizes. Gardening and charcoal drawing were also two of his greater passions. He enjoyed his immediate family and a very small circle of close friends. He is survived by mother Arvella (Belle) Johnson; brothers Junior; Calvin(Ramona), Colin (Louise); sisters Linda Desmond(Jim); Joan Matthews; Cathy Thomas; Sandra Smith (Calvin); Donna Johnson (Gerald). He was predeceased by his father George Johnson; brother Ronald Johnson. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. The funeral will take place on Saturday July 6th at 2pm from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Raymond Pitcher officiating. The family has requested there will be no visitation or flowers. Donations in memory may be made to Greenville Baptist Church or the SPCA (Yarmouth).
