Obituary for Pearl Iva Robicheau

Robicheau, Pearl Iva- 88 of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on January 3,2021 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Chester, NS on October 28,1932, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Corkum) Melanson. Pearl was truly a family woman. She absolutely loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed travelling to Chester to visit with family there as well. She was an avid crafter and knitter. She would make socks for the homeless, quilts and in the past few months had made over 90 dishcloths for her family. She also enjoyed music and having others gather around. She is survived by daughters, Dianna (Calvin) Adams, Yarmouth; Cheryl- Ann, Yarmouth; Andrea (Lindsay) Hayes, Kelly’s Cove; son, Robert (Janet), Yarmouth; brothers, Roy Whynot, Chester; Robert (Sandra) Whynot, Chester; sisters, Bernice Corkum, Chester; Margaret Ross, Ontario; Frances Zinck, Chester; Elizabeth Whynot, Halifax; Dorann Melanson, Ontario; grandchildren, Eugene; Amanda; Ashlee; Janna; Joey and great grandchildren, Courtney; Jocelyn; Dylan; Jensen; Harlee. Aside from her parents she was predeceased by her loving companion, Ernest White; son, Bryan; brothers, Eugene; Wayne; sisters, Dorothy and Marilyn. A Memorial Service will take place, Thursday, January 7th, 2021 at 2 pm. from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Yarmouth. Deacon Bruce Hubbard officiating. Interment to follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Charity of your Choice.
