Obituary

Comeau Paul Alyre, 75, of Hectanooga passed away on Saturday November 16, 2019 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Dr. Felix and Mary (Connick) Comeau. A schoolteacher, for all his working career, Paul taught many children in the town of Yarmouth. Paul loved cars, especially his 1966 Corvette. He was well known in his community and would always take the time to talk to anybody. He enjoyed driving, playing cards with his friends at the Antique Car Club, a gathering with friends every Monday at McDonald's, Cuba, Coca Cola, fish & chips followed by lemon meringue pie at Bailey's, and rappie pie & milkshakes at Comeau's Farm Market. He will be missed by his daughter Paula Comeau, St. Alphonse; son André (Terri Inglis) Comeau, Whitehorse; grandchildren Tristan and Elizabeth and his brother James (Gen) Comeau. Cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. No flowers please. I know he always looked forward to Monday nights with you guys, and really hated it when he couldn't do it anymore. We were also so glad you all came to him to play at the home. Thanks, Paula
