Patrick William Gallagher, age 79, unexpectedly joined his parents, Oliver and Ruth Gallagher, and his sister, Audrey Muise, on October 11, 2019 while surrounded by his family in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Pat was born on St. Patrick’s Day, 1940, and married the love of his life, Bev Raven, on April 8, 1960. Captain Pat was a commercial fisherman and enjoyed so many things- hunting, fishing, bowling, golf, to name a few. Pat was well known for his organizational skills, whether it was planning golf with a few or many, keeping his tools and shed just so; he could be counted on to always be right. His family was his main priority and our “Mr. Fix-It Guy” will be missed beyond what words can express, here at home and by his winter family in the South. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Bev, his son, Jon (Linda) Gallagher, his daughter Shelley (Mike) Cobbett, his grandsons Adam (Laura), Benton (Dani), Corbyn (Jaime), Travis (Megan), Joshua (Annessa) and his five great grandsons Jace, Chace, Aage, and his two namesakes, Quinn Patrick and Zale Patrick; brother, Gerald Gallagher. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Yarmouth Golf and Country Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Pat's memorial bench at the Yarmouth Golf and Country Club. As Pat would always say, “See you at 8:08 tomorrow, and bring your quarters!
