Obituary for Pamela Marie Saulnier

SAULNIER Pamela “Pam” Marie – age 53, Port Maitland, Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 14, 2022, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth on March 15, 1968, she was a daughter of Philip Buchanan and Catherine (Arey) Boudreau. Pam’s passion in life was working with kids; her career started at the Boy’s and Girls Club in Yarmouth, then progressed to the school board as lunchtime and afterschool supervisor. She then became a T.A. where she enjoyed working with kids. In her spare time, she was known to have a green thumb. She loved to garden and grow flowers and could often be found on the pool deck or around the fire pit drinking coffee enjoying the fruit of her labour. Above all else, Pam was a loving wife, mother, and friend to many. Never one to boast, she was humble and proud of what she had accomplished. Pam is survived by her husband, Stephen M Saulnier, Port Maitland; children, Danielle (Brent) Dagley, Port Maitland, Kaylee Upton, Port Maitland; Cameron Upton, Port Maitland; step-children, Samantha (Connie) Haley, Devon, Alberta; Stephen (Alyssa) Saulnier, Sluice Point; Paige (Evan) Rolston, Grande Prairie, Alberta; and step-grandchildren, Ryder, Brock, Ava, Cooper, Lily; sisters, Nancy Buchanan, Yarmouth; Sherry (Scott) Crowell, Yarmouth; Joan (Trevor) Taylor, Yarmouth; Caitlin (Frank) Buchanan; brothers, Philip Buchanan, Toronto; Adam (Joy) Buchanan, Edmonton. She was predeceased by her brothers, James Buchanan and David Buchanan. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, February 21, 2022, at 2 P.M. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Keith Moore officiating. The family will receive guests 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at a later date. Covid-19 protocols will be in place, and proof of double vaccination will be required to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Yarmouth/Argyle Home Support or the Yarmouth Boys and Girls Club. Online condolences may be made at www.sweenysfuneralhome.net
