Nora Mae Trefry, November 17,1927- August 15,2020
Nora Mae (Adams) Trefry, age 92 passed away in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital on August 15,2020. Born in Lower East Pubnico, November 17,1927 she was a daughter to the late Henry and Florence (Woodman) Adams. In her younger years. Nora worked at the Digby Pines Resort and the Dept. of Trade and Industry. She is survived by her sister, Lorna Frizzell of Dartmouth, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Douglas; Glen; Arthur: Irvin; sister, Vivian Goreham. Special thanks to her dear friend, Evelyn Devine of Yarmouth, who has stuck by her side always. Also, a special thanks to the staff of 4 North at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital for their compassionate care during her stay as a resident there. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A Funeral Service will be held, Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 10 am from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Yarmouth. Rev. A.D Bill Newell officiating. Interment to follow in Cheggogin Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Charity of your choice. There will be the option to view the service via webcast at the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Website.
