COOK Neil Kuhn – age 90, of Yarmouth N.S. passed January 18, 2023, at the Halifax Infirmary after a brief illness. Born in Chebogue Yarmouth Co., N.S. on May 27, 1932, he was a son to the late Frank and Belle Cook. He worked at Cook’s Dairy for over 46 years and was past president of the farm, retiring in 1997. He was the last surviving founding member of Cook’s Dairy Farm. He was also a member of Chebogue United Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Michael (Janice); daughter, Sally Jo (Philip); partner, Anne Marie; grandchildren Shane; Gregory; Haley; great-grandchildren, Elias; Olivia; Adelaide; Abbie-Gail; Roland, and Travis. Neil was the last surviving member of his immediate family and besides his parents was predeceased by his wife Dorothy; 9 brothers and 4 sisters. As per Neil’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Burial will be in the Town Point Cemetery, Chebogue on May 27,2023 on what would have been his 91st Birthday. Time to be announced. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
