Obituary for Nancy Belle Watkins

Nancy Belle Watkins (73) of East Kemptville passed away peacefully November 1, 2022, in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Yarmouth, Nancy was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Joyce Nickerson. In her younger years, Nancy was a registered nurse and first aid teacher and later in life a bookkeeper for the family businesses. Those who knew her recognized a kind, funny, gentle, generous, influential, and faithful woman. She was a member of the Kemptville United Baptist Church, the church choir and part of a trio called the Kemptville Classics with her husband Ed and Norm Parker. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She also loved music, flowers, gardening, nature, wildlife, and time spent in the outdoors. Her family meant the absolute world to her, and she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. It wasn’t unusual to receive carefully crafted gifts from Nancy that were made with extreme attention to detail and truly created from the heart. Nancy was a wonderful hostess and there was always room for one more at her table. Everyone always felt pampered and welcomed into her home. Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Edward; daughter, Angela (Owen); sons, Adrian (Meredith); Jonathan (Kassandra); Jeremy (Shannon); sisters, Rebecca (Reese); Faith (Hart); grandchildren, Jesse, Brandon, Hunter, Lucy, Chase, Maximus, Emma, Jade, Azaleah, Madeline and many nephews and nieces.
