Obituary for Nancy Bell LeBlanc

Nancy Bell LeBlanc – age 65 of Plymouth, Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed away peacefully on January 8, 2022, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth on May 4, 1956, she was a daughter to the late Alfred and Corrine (Shaw) Bullerwell. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Family meant everything to her. She was known to be kind and genuinely selfless, always willing to help others. Her love of animals led to her working at Parade Street Animal Hospital for many years until her retirement. Aside from work, she had many hobbies, including gardening, puzzles, baking, beachcombing, bird watching, knitting, and crafting. She was also a 30+ year member of the Plymouth TOPS. Above all else, her favourite thing in life was her grandchildren, whom she loved and adored. She also enjoyed travelling and got to take a trip of a lifetime to England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales with her daughter and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Leslie LeBlanc; daughter, Shannon DeMille (Ed Rymer), Plymouth; sons, Aaron (Leslee) LeBlanc, Plymouth; brother, Warren (Nancy) Bullerwell, Short Beach; grandchildren, Jaden, Bridget, Parker, Hannah, and Rory, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Russell Bullerwell and a sister in infancy, Dianne. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A graveside service in Plymouth Cemetery will be announced at a later date for the Spring of 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund, Yarmouth Library, or a charity of your choice.
