Obituary for Murray Muise

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our loving Murray who suddenly left us on October 11, 2022 in Port Au Bras, NL. Born April 24, 1969 in Yarmouth, NS, the son of Diane (Forbes) and Walter Muise.

He is survived by his parents; daughter, Meghann; sister, Nicole (Chad); nephews, Andrew; Michael; Brian and Chad; nieces, Amber and Cheryl; grand daughters, Aliyah; Paisley and Faith; great nieces, Abby and Kylie, and great nephews, Patrick; Liam and Daxtyn; friend ,Diane Brake; many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Michael (1992) and Tim (2017); grand parents, Murray and Bernice Forbes ; Renie and Marion Muise.

Murray was a veteran member of the Yarmouth Volunteer Fire Department and also in later years volunteered his time at the Wedgeport Fire Department. He worked at Bravo Target (Alberta) as a fire fighter and high angle rescue, Deep Country Lodge (NL) as a hunting guide and at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans as a guardian.

There is no visitation. All are welcome to attend Murrays funeral service at 1 PM, Sunday, October 30 at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. Burial at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or any other charities of choice. A family gathering will be held following the funeral at the home of Murrays parents.
