Surette, Mary Jane – Age 77 of Yarmouth passed away June 20, 2022, in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth, she was the daughter to the late Cecil Killam, Clara (Killam) Gray and step-daughter to Norman Gray. Mary Jane was a bank teller for the Bank of Montreal for 25 years before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially time with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored immensely. She was a very kind and caring woman who always took care of everyone around her. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Fred; daughters, Kim (Dean) Saulnier of Melbourne and Kelly (Shawn) Hanf of Brazil Lake; grandchildren: Riley Saulnier (Emily Doucette) of Melbourne, Kristin Saulnier (Adam Glynn) of Halifax, Bailey Hanf (Josh Carston) of Lower East Pubnico and Morgan Hanf of Brazil Lake; great-grandchildren: Rowan Carston, Jace and Emery Saulnier; Sisters: Sharon Gordon of Deep Brook and Judy Burke of Yarmouth; and many loving sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews .She will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her. Memorial service will be Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from the Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel. A live webcast will be available on the Sweeny’s Funeral Home website.
