Davis, Margaret Marie of Yarmouth passed away July 29,2022 at home with family by her side. Born in Yarmouth she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (LeBlanc) Doucette. Margaret work in the kitchen at the Yarmouth Regional hospital for over 25 years. She enjoyed golfing, going for walks and dancing. In her younger years she thoroughly enjoyed playing baseball. Family was very important to her; she loved each and everyone and thought of them all as her friends. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Surette, Yarmouth; Mary Davis, Yarmouth; Kathy Pictou, Yarmouth; son, Ronald (Barbara) Davis, Halifax; brother, Ernest (Elaine) Doucette, Yarmouth; sister, Christine Roketta, Hamilton, Ont.; many grandchildren; great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, James Davis; grandson, Trevor Pictou; brothers, Eugene; Carl, and Paul; sister, Becky Gilchrest. Funeral service will be family only on Wednesday, August 3,2022 at 1pm . Father Henry Smolenaars officiating. There will be a webcast of the service for those who wish to attend on the Sweeny’s Funeral Home website. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association of Nova Scotia or the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund.
