Burrill, Lindsay Bruce Sr.-91, of North Kemptville, Yarmouth Co., passed away on April 30,2019 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born August 9,1927 he was a son of the late Lawrence Burrill. Lindsay was a hard worker and jack of all trades, he enjoyed doing lots of different types of work. In his early years he worked as a guide at Beech Lodge, which his father owned. Later in life he would enjoy working as a woodsman, a trucker, and tinkering on cars and trucks in his backyard mechanic shop. Lindsey loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting different types of animals. He was also a former member of the Kemptville United Baptist Church. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed by his daughter, Mary Burrill (Pat Adamson), Kemptville; sons Lindsay Jr. (Peggy)Burrill, Kemptville; Lawrence Burrill (Cathy Nickerson), Kemptville; Norman Burrill, BC. Grandchildren James & Darren Pictou; Carmen Charron, Lindsay Burrill 3rd , Erin Burrill, Kitty-Anne Burrill, Terri-Sue Burrill, Robyn Burrill, John Burrill and Breena Burrill, as well as 14 great grand children. Besides his father he was predeceased by wife Norma Burrill; son Tarry Burrill and daughter Joan in infancy. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th,2019 at 2:00pm. in the Hatfield Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Lindsay may be made to the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund.
