Obituary for Leroy James Atkinson
Leroy James Atkinson 79 of the Villa St. Joseph du Lac, formerly of Pleasant Valley passed away December 14,2022 at the Villa.
Leroy owned at operated Superior Meat Market in Yarmouth for several years. In his earlier years he was an avid poker player, enjoying time spent with many friends. He enjoyed working in the woods and loved to talk, a true people person. Leroy is survived by his companion, Anne Marie Surette; daughter, Tina (Gerald) d’Entremont, Middle West Pubnico; son, Brian (Sheila) d’Eon, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Joshua; Crystal; Sherae; Terri and Monica. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium. As per Leroy’s request there will be no funeral service at this time. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association of Nova Scotia.
