Obituary for Leanne Nadine Pierce- Schneider

Leanne Nadine Pierce Schneider

After what seemed like endless years of fighting it is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Leanne Nadine Pierce-Schneider,
Leanne loved horses, flowers, the sound of birds singing, frogs, her dogs Raylene and Iris, the beach, her family (especially her grandson Dallas), and making people happy.

Leanne has travelled from NS ,all over the U.S to show her horses, and won many trophies, ribbons, belt buckles, etc.
Her favourite things to do would include tea parties, walks, ice cream, gardening, celebrating anything and everything, shopping at Frenchy's and pretty much anything with her family, Cassie (Daughter), Monika (Sister), Dallas (Grandson) and Phyllis (Mother PD).
One of her many talents was her gift with words, she loved to tell a good story. She was a multiple time published writer and that was one of her many big accomplishments.
Leanne has been deeply deeply loved by her family, and she will never ever be forgotten.
She is survived by her daughter, Cassie (Cameron) Dulong; sister, Monika Pierce (Michael St Laurent); father, James Pierce; grandson, Dallas Dulong. She was predeceased by her mother, Phyllis Pierce.
Our family would like to say a huge thank you to anyone who has shown love and support over the years and a very special thank you to the nurses on Oncology, 4 North and 3 East, along with VON and home-care. You all are True Angels.
There will be no service at this time as per Leanne's wishes. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
Anyone is welcome to leave flowers,at her final resting place in the Port Maitland/ Beaver River Cemetery, plant a flower or tree in her memory.

Something blowing in the trade winds
Calling me home
Calling me back to my life on the road

Today I rode my horse
And saw her shadow in the sand
A proud and noble steed
Kept steady by my hand

Today I gazed at the clear blue sky
And gave thanks to God above
For sending me these horses
To ride and to love

Today I felt the warm wind
Blowing against my face
Like the whisper kisses of horses
In memory of another place

Today I rode my horse
With warm wind in the trees
Blue sky and God around me
Today I was free
