Sweeney, Karen Elaine – age 80, of Yarmouth, N.S. passed away on February 2, 2023, at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Tusket on May 10, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Velma Hamilton (Wood). Karen loved watching birds, reading, and gardening. She enjoyed her time working at Sears and the Argyle Township Courthouse Archives. She is survived by her loving husband, Malcolm Sweeney; son, Scott( Judy); daughters, Kelly and Krystal; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Donna Hamilton; and brother, Paul Hamilton. Besides her parents, Karen was predeceased by her daughter, Monica Sweeney, brother, David Hamilton. At family’s request there will be no Funeral Service at this time.
